What Is Binance Auto-Invest?
Auto-Invest lets you buy crypto on a recurring schedule—daily, weekly, or monthly. It can make a chosen DCA routine easier to maintain, but it does not guarantee a profit or make the underlying asset less volatile.
Why DCA Works
Instead of timing the market (which nobody does consistently), DCA spreads your purchases over time:
| Strategy | Buy at $50k | Buy at $40k | Buy at $60k | Avg Price |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Lump sum | All at $50k | — | — | $50,000 |
| DCA | 1/3 at $50k | 1/3 at $40k | 1/3 at $60k | $50,000 |
When prices vary, a fixed-dollar plan buys more units at lower prices and fewer at higher prices. That changes the purchase pattern; it does not predict the final market value.
Setting Up Auto-Invest
- Go to Earn → Auto-Invest
- Click Create Plan
- Select your crypto (BTC, ETH, etc.)
- Choose frequency (daily/weekly/monthly)
- Set amount per purchase
- Choose funding source (spot wallet or card)
- Confirm and activate
Start with a plan you can keep reviewing
For a first test, use one asset and one weekly amount instead of a large multi-asset allocation. For example, $25 each week schedules $1,300 over 52 weeks. The ending value depends on market prices and fees, so choose an amount that fits the budget even if the asset declines.

Fees for Auto-Invest
Auto-Invest uses market orders, so you pay the taker fee:
- Standard: 0.10%
- With referral: 0.08%
- With referral + BNB: ~0.06%
Tips for Auto-Invest
- Use one asset first — understand the plan before adding complexity
- Choose a frequency you can fund consistently — weekly is often easier to review than daily
- Set a calendar review — automation should not mean ignoring the plan
- Keep the budget fixed — avoid reacting to a dip with money you had not planned to invest
- Check the current fees and signup offer — costs compound over repeated purchases
Auto-Invest vs Manual Buying
| Feature | Auto-Invest | Manual |
|---|---|---|
| Effort | Zero (automated) | Must remember each time |
| Timing | Fixed schedule | You choose |
| Emotional bias | None | High |
| Fee | Standard taker | Can use limit (cheaper) |
For some investors, consistency can outweigh the extra control of manual buying. Compare the actual fee and execution method with your own plan rather than assuming automation is always the cheaper or better choice.
Referral safety check
Know what a referral link actually provides
Be cautious with referral codes or links that do not clearly identify their provider and benefit. SmallDrift’s official RATE20 link provides a 20% trading-fee discount, and Binance’s signup page transparently displays SmallDrift, RATE20, the discount, and the referral benefit before account creation.
